Mary Pauline Projects is placing a call to artists associated with the Southeastern U.S. for its newest contract with MCG Health, Inc. MCG Health, Inc. is the private not-for-profit management corporation overseeing the clinical delivery system of the Medical College of Georgia. The corporation is now in the mist of a multi-year, $175 million dollar facilities project that involves both new construction and extensive renovation of existing facilities.  With each project, the corporation has included funding for the acquisition of original art.

Mary Pauline Projects is currently seeking submissions for the renovated departments of The Medical College of Georgia including Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Neurology, Women’s Health and Behavioral Health and more.

All works will be chosen by a healing committee comprised of designers, doctors, patients, and faculty advisors. Applications will remain on file with Mary Pauline Projects through December 31, 2010 and works will be considered for all projects until that time.

 

ELIGIBILITY

This call to artists is open to all fine artists. MCG Health Inc. has expressed a strong interest in artists associated with the Southeastern U.S. Accepted mediums include all two dimensional and three dimensional pieces. Video installations and performance art will not be accepted. Works for consideration should have a connection to nature, be visually representational and non-violent in content.

 

ENTRY FEE

A non-refundable submission fee of $25 must be included with entry form. Please include a resume and a CD with up to 10 images for consideration. Images may also be emailed to Molly@MaryPaulineProjects with the application and fee mailed separately.

 

ENTRY PROCEDURE

Please return the entry form below with a resume and a CD containing JPEG files of work. JPEG images should not exceed 1600 pixels in any dimension and should have a maximum file size of 1 MB. Please name your image with the title of work, medium, dimensions, price and number. For example WinterLandscape_pastel_11x14_2700_1.jpg is a piece titled Winter Landscape that is a pastel, 11x14 and costs $2700. SummerLandscape_pastel_16x20_5000_2.jpg is a pastel titled Summer Landscape. It is 16x20 and costs $5000.

 

SALES

If your work is selected to be included in the outpatient cancer center or any of the Mary Pauline Projects installations, a gallery commission of 30% will be retained by Mary Pauline Projects. Works will be sold at the price indicated on the entry form and may not be altered after entry. Please do not submit work that is not for sale.
