Call to Artists
Mary Pauline Projects is currently placing a call to artists for submission to MCG Health, Inc. departments of Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Neurology, Women’s Health and Behavioral Health. All submissions will also be considered for MCG Health Inc. coming projects including Family Medicine, Medicine Specialty, Pediatric Specialty, Plastic Surgery, Surgery Urology, Cardiology, Emergency Department as well as lobbies and corridors. Application deadline is December 15, 2009. |

MCG Health, Inc. (d/b/a MCGHealth) is the private not-for-profit management corporation overseeing the clinical delivery system of the Medical College of Georgia. Now entering its 10th year of operation, MCGHealth continues to provide solid management of the operations to meet the health care needs of the community and the southeast.
MCGHealth is a believer in the healing power of art as demonstrating through its ‘Healing Arts Program’ that brings in both visual and performing artists into its many facilities.
MCGHealth is now moving into the next phase of the integration of the arts into its operations. The corporation is now in the midst of the multi-year, $175 million dollar facilities projects that involve both new construction and extensive renovation of existing facilities. With each project, the corporation had the foresight to include funding for the acquisition of original art.
MCGHealth is committed to supporting the community it serves. As the region’s only academic medical center with a Level 1 Trauma Center and the region’s only dedicated children’s hospital, the organization serves and treats patients throughout the southeast. As such, MCGHealth is looking for artists in the region to provide art for this project.
